Ceiling fan downrods offer added flexibility in placing fans in the exact setting desired. Decorative 1/2" diameter downrods are threaded on one end with pre-drilled holes on both ends. The threaded end of the downrod should be installed in the ball, inside the ceiling canopy.

For optimum performance, we recommend that your ceiling fan is installed with the blades suspended between 7'-9' above the floor. Downrods come standard in lengths of 12", 18", 24", 36", 48", 60", and 72". You can also use a downrod coupler to combine two downrods together for higher ceilings. Downrods are available in all finishes to match the Bailey Street Home fan line.
