The Classic S’more Recipe

#1

The Classic S’more Recipe

Sometimes, you just can’t beat the original s’more recipe. We’re more than happy to chow down on an old-school favorite!

You’ll need: Chocolate squares, marshmallows, graham crackers, aluminum foil

  • Set up your classic s’more however you like it and wrap it up in aluminum foil. Place it on the grill at medium heat, grill four to five minutes, and eat!

#2

Berry S’mores Recipe

There’s always ways to sneak fruit into our kids’ desserts! And it’s not so bad for adults to sneak seconds if there’s fresh fruit in it... right?

You’ll need: Graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate bars, fresh raspberries and/or strawberries (sliced if using strawberries), aluminum foil

  • Coat the inside of your aluminum pan with cooking spray to stop your s’mores cake from sticking. Layer graham cracker squares at the bottom of the pan, then add half of your chocolate bars on top. Marshmallows are up next, followed by the rest of the chocolate. Top it off with a final layer of graham crackers. Cover the whole thing with aluminum foil and take it to the grill.
  • Arrange your s’mores however you like best, wrap them in aluminum foil, and grill at medium heat for four to five minutes! For this variation, we recommend placing the berries between the chocolate squares and marshmallows. The melty chocolate and marshmallows will help keep the berries and graham crackers in place so you don’t have to worry about them sliding around between bites and making a (bigger) mess!

#4

S’mores on a Stick Recipe

There’s something iconic about sticking your marshmallow over an open fire and watching it brown around the edges—and now you can capture that peak summer experience on your grill with this gourmet s’mores variation!

You’ll need: Skewers, pound cake, marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate squares (chopped), heavy cream

  • Make the chocolate sauce ahead of time by combining heavy cream and chopped chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat. Fortunately, a lot of our grills also feature a stovetop cooking area, so you don’t have to leave your get-together to take care of this step! Stir until sauce is smooth, thick, and shiny, then remove from heat.
  • Cut the pound cake into squares, then alternate between pound cake and marshmallows on the skewers. If you are using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water before this step they’re safe to go on the grill! Pro tip: Start and end your skewer with pound cake to keep marshmallows from sliding off the ends.
  • Place skewers on the grill at medium heat for 1-2 minutes and remove with tongs. Pour chocolate sauce over cooked skewers, garnish with graham cracker crumbs, and serve!
S’mores Dip Recipe

S’mores Dip Recipe

The perfect game-day s’more recipe is here! Perfect for sharing with your best buds.

You’ll need: Graham crackers, mini marshmallows, chocolate squares

  • Line a cast iron skillet with graham crackers. Then add (in order) your chocolate squares and marshmallows.
  • Now, here’s the tricky part that defines a real grill master. Set one side of the grill to high, and place the skillet on the unheated side. This will make sure your s’mores dip gets nice and toasty, but doesn’t burn on the bottom. Cover your grill and let cook for about ten minutes, cool it for five, and dig in with more graham crackers!

#6

Banana Split S’moresdae Recipe

A healthy s’mores recipe? You bet! Well… relatively speaking.

You’ll need: Unpeeled bananas, peanut butter, chopped graham crackers, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows

  • Prepare the bananas by cutting them lengthwise along the inside curve. Make sure you don’t go all the way through! Open the bananas gently and spread them with peanut butter, then top with marshmallows, chocolate chips, and graham cracker pieces.
  • Wrap the bananas up in foil and grill over medium-high heat, split side up, for eight to ten minutes. Cut a slit in the foil to release steam and heat before carefully opening the packets. Then grab a spoon and enjoy!

Grilled S’mores Pizza Recipe

This one’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser! Who doesn’t love a good dessert pizza?

You’ll need: Graham cracker pie crust (or make your own!), chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, mini marshmallows, aluminum foil

  • Prep your grill by covering the upper level with aluminum foil, or lining a cast iron or other grill-safe skillet. Place the room-temperature pie crust on the grilling surface with some (but not all!) of the chocolate chips. Let those chocolate chips melt and spread them like pizza sauce.
  • Your grill should be set at low heat for this s’mores recipe. Set it on the top rack, or place the pan off to the side without direct heat if you don’t have a top rack. Close the lid and grill for five minutes, then take it out and let it cool. Cut into s’more slices and serve!
  • Next, sprinkle your graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows like pizza toppings. Grill until the marshmallows start to brown, then serve and enjoy!

#8

S’mores Quesadillas Recipe

The grill has always been a great place for quesadillas, and now you can serve up quesadillas for dessert with this creative smores recipe!

You’ll need: Large flour tortillas, chocolate spread, softened butter (at room temperature), brown sugar, fine graham cracker crumbs, mini marshmallows

  • Spread one half of each tortilla with chocolate spread and top with marshmallows. Then, fold the tortillas and spread with butter. Pack brown sugar and graham cracker crumbs onto the buttered side and place the tortilla sugar/cracker-side down on a medium heat grill.
  • While this side cooks, butter and top the face-up side with brown sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Flip the quesadilla once the bottom side is golden and grill for another two minutes. Then serve it up with a fork and knife if you don’t want chocolate spread everywhere. Of course, it’s not making s’mores if you aren’t also making a mess!
