Tilt

Push Button – A button typically located on the top half of the pole that lets you tilt the canopy.

Auto Tilt – The same crank or wheel used to open the canopy is also used to tilt the umbrella.

Collar Tilt – A collar located on the pole that can be twisted to tilt the shade.

Easy Tilt – A wheel located near the top of the pole tilts the canopy.

Rotational Tilt – Spin any rib clockwise to tilt the umbrella and counterclockwise to return the umbrella upright.

Manual Tilt – The umbrella is manually tilted sometimes with the use of a tool.

Crank Infinite Tilt – The umbrella can be tilted 360 degrees and in all directions.

Voltage Rating

Low Voltage:  12 volts - requires a transformer

Line Voltage:  110/120 volts - standard household current

Commercial Voltage:  220 and above - used in commercial or high voltage applications
Lift Type

Push-up – The collar of the umbrella is pushed up to open the canopy and locked in place, typically with a pin.

Crank – Turning a crank located in the center of the pole opens the canopy.

Pulley – A cord or rope is pulled to open the canopy and typically held in place with a pin.

Easy lift arm – This lift type is used on Galtech cantilever umbrellas. To open the canopy, grab the easy lift arm and lift up until it is locked in place.
Application
Application refers to the location that a product can be used in. For example, indoor/outdoor or commercial/residential applications.

Fabric Color

Retraction Type Filter by the retraction type available with the product.

Coastal/Marine

Select this to look at products that are designed to withstand Coastal/Marine environments.

A marine or coastal product is resistant against humidity and corrosion from on-shore winds coming from large bodies of water. In the majority of cases, the protection is from saltwater corrosion.

Infrared Heat Technology

Short Wave - Instant warm up time with no susceptibility to wind. Traditionally used for outdoor applications in cold climates. Emits an orange glow.

Medium Wave - Short 1-3 minute warm up time with limited susceptibility to wind. Used for outdoor applications in mild climates. Emits a warm ambient glow.

Long Wave - 5+ minute warm up time with a high susceptibility to wind. Used for indoor applications. Does not emit a glow.
Standard Wattage
Refine your results by the total wattage per socket of a product.
UL Rating
Refine your results to look at products that are rated for use in Damp or Wet Locations.

Wet Rated - safe to come into direct contact with water

Damp Rated - safe to be outdoor, but under cover and should not have direct contact with water

If something is not wet or damp rated, it can only be used in Dry applications (indoor only).
Glass
Select the Glass color that best fits with your space.
Number of Lights
Refine your results by the total count of Lights on a product.

Note for LED fixtures:  The total count of LED's is generally higher than the normal count of lights.  Example a 1 light LED fixture may have 10 LED's
Product Design
Style refers to the Design elements of products that you can refine down on.
Dark Sky Rated
Select this to look at products that are Dark Sky rated and Turtle Friendly.

Dark Sky outdoor lighting is designed to direct light to the ground, not up into the sky where it can contribute to light pollution.
Lumens

A lumen is a measure of the amount of brightness of a lightbulb -- the higher the number of lumens, the brighter the lightbulb.
Bulb Type
Refine your results by the type of bulb a product uses.
Energy Star Approved
Select this to look at products that are Energy Star Approved.

Energy Star Approval means that a product meets certain federally mandated guideline regulating energy efficiency.
